RSSPop Up Europe is a series of free events, raising awareness of the European Union among young and old in the Belgian town of Dessel, the first Flemish member of BELC. There have been exhibitions, lectures, films, competitions and activities for schools.

The Europe Direct centres in Coimbra and Leiria held a Regional Open Day featuring two BELC members in Portugal, on 25 October 2023, to promote dialogue on European issues and regional resilience.
Local councillors, Susanne Reinhoffer from Gronau, Germany and Erik Kemp from Enschede, the Netherlands organised a "Europe Evening" for all residents in September 2023. The aim was to communicate and discuss the importance of the European Union at local level.
