Slovakian BELC member organised event with senior citizens on how to make the EU stronger

On 5 June, 2024 a discussion with senior citizens of the daily centre of the Košice - Dargovských hrdinov district took place. BELC member, Dominik Babušík, mayor of the city district Košice – Dargovských hrdinov organised and led the event

The debate focused mostly on how to strengthen the EU, the importance of its functioning, and the benefits of the European Union membership for Slovakia. The discussions were moderated by Ms. Eva Mihočková, editor-in-chief of the portal, Slovak Foreign Policy Association and Gabriel Eštok, PhD, political scientist from the Faculty of Arts at UPJŠ, head of the Department of Political Science, Associate Professor.

Approximately 35 seniors attended the event.
