The municipality of Saliès, in the Occitanie region of south-west France, devoted an article in the latest issue of its newsletter, expressing its pride in "being one of the 1,000 BELC partner municipalities".
The article provides the town's residents with information about the network, how it works, its members and the benefits they enjoy, being directly connected to EU decision-makers.
The article also points out that the mayor of Saliès and member of BELC, Jean-François Rochedreux, took part in the trip to Brussels organised for French members by the European Commission on 1 and 2 February this year.
