Following Brussels visit, BELC member talks to local media

On the occasion of a visit to Brussels, the Austrian BELC member spoke to the St. Pölten city newspaper and the St. Georgen city express about the Network. She emphasized the positive role BELC plays in strengthening the involvement of municipalities and citizens in the European Union and highlighted the influence of European policy on regional events.

Mrs. Becker used the example of the ERASMUS+ initiative, among others, to illustrate the many benefits that the European Union offers its citizens and called for participation in this year's European elections.

The articles are great examples of how members can bring benefits to the Network and European cooperation to local communities and thus jointly contributing to more participation and the fight against EU-scepticism.
