Join the EU Local Councillors Network

Who can apply ?

The network is open to local and regional politicians who are elected to the representative body (parliament/assembly/council) of a region, city, town, province, municipality or village.

Eligible politicians may either apply themselves or be nominated by their local or regional authority.

If this applies to you and you are motivated to communicate about European activities in your constituency, then here's how to join the network.

How to apply?

If you meet the requirements described above and are motivated to communicate about European activities in your constituency, here's how you can join the network:

  1. Fill in the application form below
    that is available in all EU official languages
  2. Inform an administrative contact person from your local or regional authority
    that you have designated them on your application
  3. The designated administrative contact person will receive an email inviting them to sign the declaration
    This signature is required to finalise your application

Interested ? Apply to become an EU Local Councillor

Once your application is approved, you will receive:  

  • An email confirming your membership of the EU Local Councillors Network. 
  • A welcome kit giving you privileged access to various EU products and services.
