Kick start of the EU Local Councillors Network

We are delighted to welcome you to the kick start of the joint EU Local Councillors Network

As you know, members of the former Commission network Building Europe with Local Councillors and the CoR Network of local and regional councillors are now joining forces to bring the EU closer to citizens in the new EU Local Councillors Network

During this webinar, you will hear welcome remarks from the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and from the President of the Committee of the Regions, Kata Tüttő, discover the EU Local Councillors Network’s new website and get details about your privileged access to the many EU products and services.

You will also exchange how this alliance between the local and the European levels of governance can best support efficient communication about what the EU is and does within in your communities and how in turn it can also be shaped by them.
