RSSLocal councillors, Susanne Reinhoffer from Gronau, Germany and Erik Kemp from Enschede, the Netherlands organised a "Europe Evening" for all residents in September 2023. The aim was to communicate and discuss the importance of the European Union at local level.

On 13 September 2023, the municipality of San Xoán de Río, Galicia (Spain), a BELC partner held the screening of the State of the Union (SOTEU) speech by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen that was followed by a roundtable discussion titled ‘Youth in the European Union’.
